Metal buildings in Nevada.
Carports, RV covers, garages and barns for Nevada properties. We serve parts of Nevada, so start with your ZIP. Wind, caliche and HOA rules come up most in the south; snow and earthquakes in the north.
Your Nevada questions, answered.
Do you deliver to my part of Nevada?
We serve all of Nevada. Enter your ZIP at the top of this page to see your prices.
Do I need a permit?
Usually. Cities and counties issue permits in Nevada. Clark County, Washoe County and the larger cities require permits for carports and garages, and many HOAs require approval too. Some rural counties regulate less. Ask before you prepare the site.
My ground is caliche. Can you still anchor the building?
Caliche is a hard, cement-like layer common in southern Nevada, and it can stop standard ground anchors. A concrete pad or a different anchor type may be needed.
How much wind should my building handle?
Ask your building department for the design wind speed. Open desert and valley sites see strong gusts, and spring winds can be severe. Tell us how exposed the building spot is.
I’m in northern Nevada. What changes?
Snow and earthquakes. Reno, Carson City and the Lake Tahoe area have snow loads that rise with elevation, and the region has high earthquake design requirements. Ask the building department for the requirements at your address.
How do delivery and installation work?
We review your building, location and site details before confirming timing. You prepare a level site and arrange required local approvals. Gates, block walls, dirt roads and long distances from pavement can make delivery harder. Summer heat can shift crews to early-morning work. A quote request does not reserve an installation date.
Do I need to call 811 before installation?
Yes. Contact USA North 811 at least two working days, and no more than 28 calendar days, before work starts. Tell them where the building will sit and that ground anchors will be installed.
Lines you own, such as power to a garage, are not marked through 811.
