Your Missouri questions, answered.

Do you deliver anywhere in Missouri?

Yes. Our coverage includes the whole state.

Do I need a permit?

It depends on where the property is. Missouri has no statewide building code for homes and their outbuildings. Cities and some counties adopt their own codes and issue permits. Many rural counties do not. Floodplain, septic and zoning rules can still apply, so call the county or city before preparing the site.

My land is in the Ozarks. What should I know?

Expect rock and slopes. Shallow rock can stop standard ground anchors, and hillside sites usually need grading for a level pad. Sinkholes are common in parts of southern Missouri; don’t place a building or slab over one. We review the installation surface before confirming the anchoring.

Does southeast Missouri need an earthquake review?

Ask your building office. The Bootheel and southeast Missouri are in the New Madrid seismic zone, with higher earthquake design requirements than the rest of the state.

Is a carport or metal building safe to shelter in during a tornado?

No. A carport or steel storage building is not a storm shelter. Shelter in your home, a basement or a safe room.

How do delivery and installation work?

We review your building, location and site details before confirming timing. You prepare a level site and arrange required local approvals. Gravel roads, low-water crossings, steep drives, gates and low limbs can make delivery harder. A quote request does not reserve an installation date.

Do I need to call 811 before installation?

Yes. Contact Missouri 811 at least three working days before work starts, not counting weekends and state holidays. Tell them where the building will sit and that ground anchors will be installed. Marks are good for 21 days.

Lines you own, such as power to a barn, are not marked through 811.

Where can I check flood risk?

Look up the address on the FEMA flood map, then ask the county floodplain administrator about the building location. River bottoms along the Missouri and Mississippi flood widely in wet years.
