Do you deliver to my part of Colorado?

We serve all of Colorado. Enter your ZIP at the top of this page to see your prices.

What snow load does my building need?

Ask your county or city building department. In Colorado the ground snow load usually depends on elevation, and mountain counties publish their own tables. A site a few hundred feet higher than town can need a higher load.

Do wildfire rules apply to my building?

They might. Colorado adopted a statewide Wildfire Resiliency Code for areas in the wildland-urban interface, which local governments had to begin enforcing by July 1, 2026. Accessory buildings at least 50 feet from a home are generally exempt from its building-hardening rules; closer ones may need to meet them, and defensible-space rules can still apply. Ask your county building department whether your lot is in a wildfire area.

Do I need a permit?

Usually. Colorado leaves building codes to counties and cities, and most along the Front Range and in the mountains require permits for garages and carports. Some rural plains counties regulate less. Ask the county or city building department, and check HOA covenants if you have them.

What about expansive soil?

Tell us if you plan a slab. Parts of the Front Range have clay soils that swell when wet and can crack or lift slabs. Your building department or a soils report may say what the slab needs. For anchoring, tell us about rock or very hard ground at the site.

How do delivery and installation work?

We review your building, location and site details before confirming timing. You prepare a level site and arrange required local approvals. Mountain roads, steep drives, switchbacks, snow and seasonal road closures can make delivery harder. A quote request does not reserve an installation date.

Do I need to call 811 before installation?

Yes. Contact Colorado 811 at least two full business days before work starts, not counting the day you call. Colorado 811 recommends three. Tell them where the building will sit and that ground anchors will be installed.

Lines you own, such as power to a barn or a well line, are not marked through 811.

Does hail or wind matter?

Tell us how exposed the site is. The eastern plains and Front Range see strong wind and frequent hail. Ask your building department for the design wind speed, and ask your insurance agent how a detached building would be covered before you buy.
